Interior & Exterior

This mid-size SUV has room for up to five passengers with plenty of head and legroom. The rear seats can fold flat as needed to provide you with even more cargo space. The Edge uses a Rotary Gear Shift Dial that frees up more space for added storage, cup holders, and USB ports to keep devices charged. When you walk up to the Ford Edge, you can choose from a range of wheel options, and the Edge offers LED lighting that improves visibility and adds to the overall style.

Performance

You have one of two engines to compare, including the standard 2.0-liter Twin-Scroll EcoBoost engine that delivers an impressive 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The new Edge comes standard with the Intelligent AWD system that can provide added traction and control as needed. It pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission for a great balance of performance and fuel efficiency. Models like the ST come with the larger 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine that can provide an even more impressive 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. There are even options for steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters for added control over shifting. When you need to do some towing, the Edge has a max towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds.

Technology

You can get up to a 12-inch LCD touchscreen powered by the SYNC® 4A system. It allows you to access some of your favorite apps, get directions, and stay connected while traveling to Annapolis. It features an available wireless charger to keep compatible devices charged. Ford designed the Edge to receive over-the-air updates that can add new features, improve performance, and more.

Safety

The Ford Co-Pilot360™ system provides helpful features, such as Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking to help detect potential collisions and avoid or reduce a frontal collision.
